Why should Animal Chiropractic be a part of your animal's health journey?

Dr. Brenna Roden completed her schooling for animal chiropractic at Options for Animals in Wellsville, Kansas in February 2023. She is IVCA certified and sees both large and small animals. She is also the only animal chiropractor in North Georgia that sees exotics.

Dr. Roden prides herself in continuous learning of the newest techniques and research and has completed special courses specially targeted in:

 - Equine Performance Adjusting

 - Sport Dog Adjusting

 - Show Steer Adjusting

 - Canine Behavior

 - Animal Rehabilitation and Pain Management

 - Applied Kinesiology and Functional Neurology

She is also in the process of developing a course to teach other providers to adjust exotic animals.

Animals have always played a large role in Dr. Roden’s life. She grew up on a farm in Alabama and has ridden horses since before she could walk. Currently, she loves to barrel race and trail ride in her free time. Both of her children have inherited her love for animals and both are heavily involved in riding. Eason her oldest, who has Down Syndrome, participates in Equine Physical Therapy weekly, as well as several shows and rodeos throughout the year. Collyns, her youngest, absolutely adores all animals, but horses especially, hold a huge place in her heart. She and her horse Dusty compete in barrel racing and goat tying as much as they can.

Dr. Roden believes all animals should receive chiropractic care, whether they are an athlete or family pets. Chiropractic care in combination with routine veterinary care allows animals to live their optimal life. Chiropractic is in no way a replacement for routine veterinary care. All animals should see their primary DVM and be approved for chiropractic care, prior to their appointment. Chiropractic can aid in recovery from injury, joint pain, reproduction issues, improved performance, and overall health in your pet.

In the state of Georgia, for your pet to recieve chiropractic care, a Veterinarian Referral Form must be completed and signed by both the owner and Veterinarian. If a patient is not a candidate for animal chiropractic or needs further diagnostics from their vet before receiving care, we will not treat and will refer to the patient's vet as necessary. Our services are not meant to replace traditional veterinary care, but rather an integrative method that when used in conjunction, will make a positive impact in your animal's life.

“Never did I think I would be yelling from the rooftops to get my dog adjusted! She has arthritis and it's been a struggle for her. After one adjustment at Lost Mountain Animal Chiropractic, she is walking around and acting like she did when she was 4. Will definitely keep this a routine for Lady from now on."
